Admittedly, while high on heroin, I used to do a lot of "compulsive" shopping at Wal-Mart with my mom at my side. I begged, " I need this T-shirt. The batman one. I need this compass. I need this fabric spray paint. I need these THREE count 'em THREE five dollar DVD's." I have probably about 2,000 DVD's right now. I never stopped my exploration of the consumer market, and I can admit I really do "know" the best products, from my heroin-divination days, but once, I used to also buy comics. I bought the superman comics, and all the villain comics I could. "Sometimes" I would find X-Men comics. One was even called "Cable." (The evolution of Magneto) and I was overjoyed. There was a nine year old (or his age I assume) -- very handsome young telepathic, who was able to read who I was. He said a few things, telepathically, but what I most remember are his words, "Everyone needs a hero." I kind of thought about it, even though I'd done a lot of bad things, and hurt a lot of people with my psychotronic devices, I simply said, "Yes, I can't help but agree." He didn't "intuit" or impress me with another word, but just kept staring at the card-section, and then ignored me, while probably pondering my response to him. Telepathic children are thought of as "starchildren" or "indigo childs" -- usually called autistic or mentally ill, they are still telepathic. And I really heard His words that day. - Brendan S
