The Cave ----------- I'd never before seen such a big, massive, majestic, and beautiful cave right beside the ocean. It was on an endless stretch of beach -- a Mexican island we took a boat to get to. The entire "staff" there lived on the island, and I got up from my chair on the beach where all the other tourists were situated, and started to search for a friend *girl hopefully, to smoke some of my weed I had bought -- with ..... weed I bought in Mexico. * * * * * * * There are "security poles" (cameras) situated all over Mexico, and more surveillance in Mexico right now, than even AMERICA. The entire country is also filled with undercover, underground, and "unknown" cops who patrol the streets, with guns. There is so much policing in Mexico, it is nearly impossible to get away with anything there now. And the gangs, and underground cartels are still in control of all of the money, in the government, and the corrupt policemen they sell it to, and probably illegally distribute to America. * * * * * * * "Mersh" or "Commercial Bud" is what we were used to in Bar Harbor, where almost everyone had a stash in 2012. We all expected a great big light to come down from the sky, after all the 2012 books we had read. I went to Puerto Vallarta by plane after breaking up with Rumi. Two weeks after. I was with her for two years. We broke up terribly. This is what I think they said about me in Mexico .. "He was big. Big like natural muscles, like a black guy. Really big. He had a white shirt on all the time, and he looked pimped out. Like he didn't give a fuck. And he kept laughing. Laughed all the time. I don't know what he was laughing at." ..... I remember once watching a man put on a "plate-spinning” show in front of me, as I had a bag of kind bud in my pocket, and drank red wine and watched him drop it several times, with his supervisor watching, as I laughed at him. * * * * * * * I wonder why he couldn’t just juggle it the right way. I know how to juggle, by the way. And I can move metal objects for my own amusement. Cars, knives, guns, any piece of magnetizeable object, and yes plastic is magnetic. Only, I didn’t know this till later on... I can also remote control objects in any direction I want them to go. * * * * * * * But, I was only 23 when I went to Mexico. * * * * * * * “We got da vvacation cards, we got da candy, we got da food, we got da cigarettes, we got da chronic, we got da timeshares, man, let me help you out.” I paused, and said, up close to him, “Did you say you got da chronic..?” I followed him to an Asian / Mexican looking man, wearing cool sunglasses, and they under the table they were sitting handed me two grams of kind bud. The next day I went back, after smoking it all with the shit from my little wine bar, or whatever they call it, in the hotel room, and passed out with weed spilled all around me, also the next night, when I went back, walking for an hour, and waiting for an hour, while everyone stared at me, and stuffed a quarter of weed into my pocket. I rolled five joints, and put them in my cigarette-holding flask (opens up), and you can put cigarettes or joints inside of it, and slipped it in my coat with a lighter. I also had a pipe I made out of a soda can, that I made very carefully, so it wouldn’t burn the metal. Mexican TV had a lot of American shows, so it wasn’t so bad to go out and buy a new black guitar one day, that was made of bamboo. I still have the guitar. * * * * * * * I wandered the beach, and saw a pretty girl holding a parrot. “You want to .. hold..?” I said, after a long silence and smile, “OH. No.” And tragically just walked away, thinking of Rumi. I walked almost directly to the cave. I walked, and walked, past everyone, away from all the people on the beach, and to the right of the beach, walking until I found the spot. I thought, “Good enough.” As I sat on some rocks by the beach, then I for some reason suddenly looked behind me, and the biggest gaping hole in the mountain I’d ever seen was darkly, and like an abyss sking for me to enter it, and I Just started laughing, got up, and started walking. * * * * * * * A Moment Of Peace and Enlightenment\ * * * * * * * I smoked two hits, and got real stoned. From the kb. Then I took out my small blue mp3 player, the same kind I have today, and listened to every cool song I could think of, while staring at the sun, and the ocean, and the endless beach, and I smiled. * * * * * * * The sense of reverie stayed with me. When I left Mexico, I felt forgiven in a way. I remember throwing away all the weed, and leaving the flask fully prepared, with tequila in it, for any of the staff to find. * * * * * * * I left in the same white shirt. I had also developed a new drawing technique, in my hotel room, filled with S and X-shaped designs. Walking with the guy in charge of the beach, he said, the next day I met him .. Looking at me as though I was a young figure of authority, wearing a invisible badge. He said, with men nodding at him with their arms crossed as he pointed them out .. “I got lots of protection. See. And then he would point, a man would nod, and he would go, see.” -BLS
