How The System Welcomes Corruption: by Brendan Lee Sprague In a building meant for recovery, VOA (Volunteers Of America) claims "we offer second chances to criminals" -- allowing just about anyone with a record to be a med nurse at the group home, with any kind of criminal record, spending time with sensitive people in recovery. The system in general allows criminals to work for healthcare, in fact, and is so welcoming, it almost appears to be "keeping them safe." Have you ever wondered when you go to a hospital, "but why does HE work here..?" Because the system protects him. The problem of course with allowing criminals to work in the healing arts field of recovery is that they are people who know nothing about healing, have bad morals, tend to repeat crimes, and make almost any institution more corrupt in spite of how "forgiving" the system claims to be, when it is only supporting its own corruption. In fact, most people in recovery would rather have anyone "but" a criminal as the person who hands them their medication. This is actually true, and real information findable on the internet. So many times, I have encountered bully nurses, mean CNA's, and totally brutally hateful "individuals" who work for hospitals, and after a mere google search term, the entire corruption of our entire nation is exposed.
