If I ever knew a witness, Or saw a victim fall I would not be standing here With my spate and style so tall I'm not trying to be more seen Or more poetic in the dream I just noticed my name Always ringed the same When they happen on their knees And I'm a magnetic frieze I don't know what else to say Except for you got in God's way. I've ripped out the cables And tripped on the cords I've stepped on the metal And I've turned walls into floorboards I've made people so angry Yet so many few The darker one's who understand A little laughter in you With that little touch Of euthanasic love You're cute and beautiful Yet mean to the touch. And repeatable. Yet, loved so much, in spite of your touch, You scorpion. When you laugh, I laugh also. You smile too much. For what you have done. Oh, death, You have such a sense of humor, Where are you, And what are you, And why have you come..? You have such a great sense of humor. I'll die before I am young. At the age of 100 When that once was young According to Moses And all the people in the book I've read of history ANd age-old men When I learn of why we became So lessoned We didn't know How immortal you are In your own way How you live on And travail With a smile AND we all just keep on laughing Dying Like Lemurs In a similar style of karma each day. While you laugh, And we smile, death, For a while. Not sure, If the fourth Is the horseman I knew, But I've never quite known humor Like the humor in you. -BLS
