My Religious Views ------------------ by Brendan S I believe, that the "gnosis" of the Earth is as mysterious as the spiral. We are all formed, and yet know not from what originally. We know of Adam, and the "seed of life" -- yet what about the "first man..?" In the Bible, Jesus comes later on. At first, you learn the story of Adam, Seth, Cain, and Abel, and Abraham, and then Moses, and before them many other people, until Jesus arrives on the scene. I believe Jesus was a real man, and who lived a great life. He was a mysterious healer, and mentalist, hypnotist, magician, and saint. I believe God is the reason why he was so powerful. He was fueled by the Earth, and nature, also. He was also fueled by energy, itself. It is said in some books, that Christ had a powerful field of energy surrounding himself. The devil is just a scapegoat, and Christ is the comparison we created him from. The divine is to be just, logical, and honest. To know when we are breaking a rule, we confess to this to purify ourselves. Witchcraft corrupted religion, maybe, only once. The truth is there is a magic in christianity. There is a magic in religion. And there is a magic, mostly, of confession and sacrifice. Christ was an artist, a poet, a musician, a carpenter, a traveler, and a troubadour. He was honest, as much as he could be, but still a human like the rest of us. I know religion does not always mean we must think of Christ, so the Buddha is worth mentioning also. Along with Pythagoras, and modern-day saints like Aquinas. I believe in all these figures, and I revere modern-day men, and honor the power of those above me. I think nature heals, and God is allowant for us to use nature to our advantage. When we mis-use nature, we are paid judgment by God. We must be aware of ourselves, and our own energy, to know others. Humility truly is a self-taught word. Knowing the sacrifice of what it must take to be a "slave" who stands for so much, Some might say religion or the scattered religious utilize the ideal or idea of Christ to their advantage, making us all want to rise up from slaveship of some kind, or to just control us as slaves in the direct opposite ad virtuum. I know that God is helpful, the most, when you are honest. No heretic is loved by God. My favorite saint is saint Thomas Aquinas. Mostly because of his majestic writing style, and the great "open up your voices" and "speak through the truth" Queant Laxis poem. I love the works of the Bible, and I keep one by my bed. I respect magic, and mysticism also. I respect nature, above all these things. - BLS
