The Reunion:


Jess asked me, "Hey. Can I buy one or two of your Mountain Dews off you..?"

It was the special, "Frostbite" kind that gets you real messed up on the ketamine.

I said, "Ok. How about two or three dollars."

She bought them, and later I sat with her while she was drinking tea with me later on.

She looked happy.

I was talking to someone named Greg, and her, in the TV room. Greg said he wanted to build me a guitar.

We all sat and talked for a while.

I was on the couch beside Jess.

I remember, seeing the blue drink in her hand, and this pleasant smile on her face.
